Reliable Websites

When researching we have to find reliable websites to be able to find answers. We have to make sure there reliable so the information we find isn't wrong and misleading. To check that something is reliable there our ways to check by checking the 

-Who?

-What?

-Why?

-Where?

-When? 

Who?

When your researching the website you should check who's website your on and if the information on it is reliable and what your looking for. (e.g. If the website was a Blog is the information thier own opinion, are they biased?)

What? 

Does the website provide you with what your looking for. Does it tell you what you need to find out and what information is available. 

Why? 

Why is it relevant and what was the reason for them writing it. 

Where? 

Where are they getting there information from. Is it from there own research and is it reliable. (e.g. did they get it from a previous website or researched previously from a book)

When?

When was the information published. Is it still recent and helpful to you. (e.g. If it was information from 1970 is it useful for the topic your researching)
